You have at least one year of landscaping experience and proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers.Depending on qualifications and work performance, summer staff may be offered a position for winter with snow removal.RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform landscape “Extras” such as hand garden weeding, planting of annuals, perennials, shrubs, spring clean-up, fall clean-up, trimming, and pruning, garden bed creation and planting
• Operate a variety of mechanical and hand equipment including bed edgers, commercial mowers, blowers, dump trailers, pruners, line trimmers, and tillers
• Perform landscape enhancement activities such as mulch application, plantings, top soil application, lawn seeding, sod installation
• Address clients’ questions, comments, and concerns or refer clients to the Team Leader as appropriate
• Assist Team Leader with job planning and organization, thereby ensuring sufficient resources and materials are readily available
• Assist with equipment maintenance and repair under supervision of the Garden Team Lead
• Perform other duties as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma/GED (or current student status)
• One year experience in field or related
• Valid G Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract
• Background check
• Own reliable transportation to shop
• Able to work days, weekends, early morning, early evening
• Willingness to work occasional overtime
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with this position

*This is a seasonal job with approx. Working dates from April 15 to November 30 *Rate of Pay: $18 to $22 per hour depending on experience.We are actively interviewing for this position – Apply today and our hiring manager will follow up!
