Contract Type: Temp-to-PermAbout the Role:Driver Hire (Torbay) is recruiting Valeters on behalf of our client based in Newton Abbot. This is a temp-to-perm role with a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to secure a permanent position. As a Valeter, you will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are cleaned to the highest standards both inside and out.Key Role Details:

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30
• Annual Holiday Entitlement: 28 days, inclusive of public holidays. After 5 years of continuous service, entitlement increases by 1 day per year up to a maximum of 33 days.
• Pension: 5% employee contribution, 3% employer contribution
• Additional Benefits: RISE Health and Wellbeing Service
• Driving Licence: Full UK/EU licence required

Day-to-Day Duties:

• Reporting to the Valeting Manager
• Cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles to a high standard
• Vacuuming and shampooing carpets and upholstery
• Detailing vehicles
• Inspecting vehicles for damage and reporting issues to the line manager
• Following health and safety regulations when working with chemicals and materials
• Assisting with the completion of jobs within allocated timeframes

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Experience in automotive detailing preferred
• Ability to work quickly and accurately
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of automotive detailing products and techniques
• Understanding of health and safety regulations
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Training:
