Job Title: Vehicle Delivery Driver

Hourly Rate: £11.50 per hourAbout the Role:Driver Hire/dh Recruitment (Torbay) is recruiting for a Vehicle Delivery Driver on behalf of a well-established and growing business in South Devon. As a Vehicle Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering vehicles to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and successful team during an exciting period of growth.Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the WAV and DFW Manager
• Collect and deliver customer vehicles as scheduled
• Complete all relevant paperwork with the customer, ensuring professionalism and effectiveness
• Deliver vehicles safely, promptly, and in working condition
• Complete all paperwork correctly and in a timely manner
• Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to ensure smooth vehicle delivery
• Monitor customer satisfaction and suggest improvements where needed
• Assist with the daily operations of the delivery team
• Drive vehicles safely, adhering to weather and traffic conditions
• Report vehicle faults and complete vehicle condition reports on both courtesy and customer vehicles
• Ensure accurate documentation when transferring vehicles
• Report any accidents or incidents to your manager without delay

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Valid driver’s licence
• At least 3 years of experience in a delivery driver role
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of vehicle safety and handling

Personal Requirements:

• Full UK/EU Driving Licence
• Eligibility to work in the UK

What We Offer:

• Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Holiday: 28 days including bank holidays, plus 1 additional day for every year of service after 5 years, up to a maximum of 33 days (including bank holidays)
• Pension: 5% employee contribution, 3% employer contribution
