We are hiring!Circet UK are looking for an experienced Dependency Manager with particular knowledge of rooftop and street furniture site dependency submissions and approvals . As Dependency Manager you will have the responsibility for the collation, review and submission of multiple documents and drawings required to gain consents from authorities such as Utilities, Building Control, and the High Risk Building Safety Regulator. You will manage the production and submission of technical documents such as tower global design checks, structural calculations and electrical calculations. You will manage contractors to complete site investigations such as trial hole surveys, ground penetrating radar surveys, and rooftop intrusive surveysWorking with CircetCircet Ireland & UK have built an ever-growing portfolio of specialist services.   • The management of contractor and some internal resource to complete information gathering surveys of street furniture and rooftop sites, and to ensure that the subsequent survey reports are collected and stored in advance of the designs they support.
  • The management of various engineering contractors to complete supporting calculations for rooftop and greenfield designs and to ensure that the subsequent survey reports are collected and stored in advance of the designs they support.
  • The collation of ‘Golden Thread’ information from the Principal Accountable Persons of High Risk Buildings.
  • To collaborate with design personnel to compile document packs to submit to Building Control or Building Safety Regulator for Building Regulations consent.
  • Where required, to negotiate with utility companies to seek their review and subsequent consent for the construction of street furniture monopole bases in proximity to utility services.
  • Where necessary, to obtain quotes for service diversions where required to construct a monopole base.
  • To seek the approval of the diversion quote from the client
  • To liaise with counterparts in the utility companies to ensure that service diversions are completed ahead of the phased construction of the street work site.

Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

  • A thorough understanding of telecommunications cell design and construction is essential for this position.
  • Prior dependency management a key advantage
  • IT skills, including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD and map drawings in order to ensure that technical surveys are completed in the correct location relative to the proposed installation.
