Scope of Work
In 2025, we are beginning a program aimed at leveraging the Open Supply Hub platform to help ensure unions and workers are genuinely engaged and included in the development of corporate climate transition plans and due diligence strategies. The Stakeholder Engagement Manager will be responsible for developing and managing the project plan around the engagement of unions and worker rights organizations in this program. Reporting to the Director of Stakeholder Engagement, this is a 40 hour/week contract position for a fixed term of 21 months (February 2025 – October 2026).
External Stakeholder Engagement (40%):
- Develop a project plan and materials for training and working directly with unions to build capacity around transparency, data sharing, and making use of OS Hub.
- Collaborate with and train OS Hub’s global stakeholder engagement team on this plan and set of materials.
- Solicit and synthesize feedback on how OS Hub can best engage and serve unions and civil society (with a particular focus on safety and data privacy).
- Engage existing CSO/union relationships for this project, as well as building on, managing and advancing relationships that OS Hub has already established.
- Lead virtual and in-person workshops with CSOs/unions as well as between CSOs/unions & companies around how to leverage their respective datasets to connect and collaborate with one another.
- Develop a strong understanding of the OS Hub platform and stakeholder use cases to be able to speak about/demo it to general audiences.
Program Management (30%):
- Recruit, onboard, and then lead a funded constituent committee representing unions and CSOs to guide and oversee this program.
- Manage service provider relationships (translators, partner contracts, etc) engaged to complete scope of work.
- Maintain records of relationships with unions and CSOs, in order to track and report on progress/impact.
- Provide quantitative and qualitative KPIs/examples for grant reporting.
- Develop and publish case studies of success stories.
- Consistently capture and share lessons learned internally and externally, to continue to drive progress in this kind of work.
- Contribute expertise and program learnings to OS Hub’s stakeholder engagement team, with involvement in broader team projects/strategy, as relevant.
- Join relevant OS Hub weekly meetings to update on program progress & connect program to broader organization initiatives.
Resource Development (20%):
- Oversee the development and translation of localized union/CSO-facing resources and materials for key regions.
- Resources can include but are not limited to: video tutorials, digital/mobile resources/language/infographics, social media posts/channels, printed materials, toolkits for leading workshops, etc.
Data & Technology (10%):
- When desired or appropriate, formatting and uploading data on behalf of a union to help generate momentum and build capacity.
- Provide recommendations to OS Hub’s product and data teams and collaborate on solution development based on stakeholder feedback.
Success will be measured by:
- Number of people/organizations in the union/CSO sector trained on using OS Hub.
- Number of unions successfully sharing data with, as well as using OS Hub to advance their missions.
- Number of production locations on OS Hub with data contributed by a union/CSO.

The Ideal Candidate
- At least 5 years working directly in/with trade/labor unions and/or CSOs engaging with worker rights in supply chains with the ability to bring and engage existing relationships in this project
- Experience developing resources, trainings and/or workshops and translating them between multiple cultures/languages
- Public speaking/facilitation comfort and experience
- Experience collecting and synthesizing feedback on a project, solution or resource
- Must be able to work day-to-day with the OS Hub team in English, but fluency in other language(s) for engaging with stakeholders is highly desirable
- Sensitivity to issues such as gender, digital literacy, levels of reading proficiency, ethnicity, caste and other factors that can influence outcomes of uptake, and/or should be reflected in training materials
- Passion for/knowledge of the ‘just transition’ and the role of workers in that framework
- Proficiency/experience with Microsoft & Google tools
- Comfort with navigating basic software/technology platforms
Budget
- This is a 40 hour/week contract position for a fixed term of 21 months (February 2025 – October 2026) with a budget range of 1,600,000 INR – 2,500,000 INR for candidates based in India. Due to the global nature of the search for this position, budget expectations for other countries will be transparently shared and set with individual candidates based on their local context/currency, should they be invited to a 1st Interview Round. Location and Remote Work
This is a fully remote contract, with expectations around in-person meetings and both domestic and international travel throughout the contract period (a valid passport is required). We are look for candidates who:
Are based in the following continents/regions:
- Africa
- Asia
- Eastern or Southern Europe
- Latin America
- Or regions of the world where the impacts of climate change are being felt in an outsized way.
- Are based in regions of the world where there is a large amount of apparel and/or agriculture/food/beverage production occurring, as well as union organizing around that production.
- Have access to a reasonably stable wifi/internet connection and a computer for completing deliverables and attending virtual meetings.

Evaluation Stages
Initial Questions: To get to know you a little better and make it easier to connect across time zones, we’ll ask you to answer a few initial questions that help us better understand your experience. You’ll be able to choose whether to send recorded video, audio, or written responses.
1st Interview: This is a 30-minute interview with OS Hub’s Bangladesh Community Manager & Business Development Director. The first five minutes will be introductions, the following 20 minutes will focus on your past experiences and skill set, and the remaining time will be an opportunity for you to ask any questions about the opportunity and/or organization.
2nd Interview: This is a 60 minute interview with OS Hub’s Stakeholder Engagement Director & Stakeholder Engagement Manager based in Turkiye. The first ten minutes will be introductions and an overview of the program and contract expectations. The following 40 minutes will go deeper into your general experience, public speaking/facilitation skills, and collaboration/program management expertise. This will include some live exercises, but no preparation will be necessary. The remaining time will be allocated for you to ask any remaining questions about the team, program, and organization.
