Qualcomm is seeking an intern for the IT Digital Value Creation (DVC) group to start in 2025 for up to 8mths. You will join the DVC Sales and Marketing team in the Cork Technology Centre, Ireland.

The DVC team will be implementing enhancements to the Customer Engineering and Sales instances of Salesforce which provide digital platforms for Qualcomm’s sales and customer service initiatives. You will be assigned project support roles in the following areas, to gain experience on sales initiatives, IT project planning and IT development:

· Business requirements to IT solution analysis

· Business analytics or data analysis

· Technical project management

· Testing (possibly automation scripting)

· Documentation

· Architectural analysis/diagramming.

You will work from Cork, Ireland. The main project team is primarily located in San Diego and Hyderabad. Therefore, you will have to be flexible in meeting hours (probably later afternoon Irish Standard Time to work with San Diego leads and business users), capable of managing your work throughout the day, and communicate well via Teams chat and/or emails. Primary interaction with the project team will be virtual except for some project team members and management who may be in Cork.

Preferred skills:

· Experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL, or other structured languages.

· Experience with data analysis, data science, or machine learning concepts.

· Experience with data warehousing, business intelligence, or other data discovery tools.

· Experience or training in Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or other software development lifecycles.

· Experience with some of the O365 Microsoft products. AWS knowledge or experience a plus.

Education Requirements:

To qualify for this position, you must be a current student (electrical engineering or computer science) in the middle or towards the end of your university studies looking for an Intern/co-op placement as a mandatory part of your degree for 6+ months.

Candidates must legally be able to work in Ireland and registered as a current student.
