Overview
Manager of Regional Marketing will maximize the sale of supplier brands to the trade and consumer through effective regional execution through business development, and marketing off and on trade. Additionally, this position will be responsible for managing relationship that permit achievement of company and supplier objectives.
Primary Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate of all marketing, advertising and promotional activities

Plan marketing execution and branding objectives

Audit, classify, and prioritize key accounts, developing and leading a direct relationship with key on premise players
-
Create and facilitate marketing presentations, proposals, and programs (on premise, retail, and public relations campaigns) with clear tie and participation to achieving brand objectives, accomplishments, evaluation and feedback

Implement and execute On Trade, Off Trade, and Travel Retail activities against brand plan including, but not limited to; Training programs for partners and activities for brand plans / incentive programs and sales

Source “best in class” opportunities to support executional strategy

Manage existing Client relations while sourcing new Business Development opportunities (private clients) through leading events and experiences
Additional Primary Responsibilities

Manage the marketing budget for your region

Gather and analyze customer insights
-
Drive brand success via training, education and experiences for Territory Managers, Sales Managers, Key Account Managers etc.

Monitor field implementation and execution of programs for assigned brands to ensure product pricing and promotion

Regularly interact with field management for updating programming and brand priorities, brand standards and best practices leading to successful execution in the market

Provide detailed tracking and execution reports of performance against agreed-to supplier objectives and requirements

Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
-
Five years of industry related sales experience within the distribution, hospitality or supplier community
-
Valid province driver’s license and ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance by provincial law

Comprehensive understanding of wine and spirits to include regions/varietals, product/food pairing techniques, basic production, and service
-
Ability to adapt and can assist a variety of internal customer groups and varying personality types

Must have strong negotiation skills; demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit

Ability to create and sell innovative ideas
-
Goal oriented, focused, and assertive individual who needs a little direction or supervision

Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine

May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 40lbs
