Job Title: Research Fellow in Tropical ToxicologyJob Location: Edinburgh, UKJob Location Type: HybridJob Contract Type: Full-timeJob Seniority Level: Mid-Senior levelThe OpportunityJOB DESCRIPTIONTo plan and help lead a programme of high quality internationally competitive clinical toxicology research, including management of staff and resources, with the aim of developing a relevant research portfolio and achieving publication of research outcomes in high impact journals around poisoning and envenoming in LMICs.This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.The salary for this post is £49,250 to £60,321 per annum.Your Skills And Attributes For Success
- Extensive research experience in clinical research, particular clinical toxicology, supported by relevant qualifications (PhD or equivalent) and significant post-doctoral experience.
- Experience and demonstrated success in delivering research project results.
- Experience and achievement in clinical toxicology research, reflected in a growing personal research portfolio.
- Have led large scale trials with poisoned patients.
- Experience in writing and submitting large grants and demonstrated ability to conduct innovative research.
