Job Description:
The Bilingual Call Center Representative will be the first point of contact for patients, providing a positive and welcoming experience. This role involves handling a high volume of calls, scheduling appointments, and ensuring patient inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and manage 90-100 inbound calls daily in a professional manner.
- Schedule patient appointments across multiple practice locations.
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient information.
- Triage calls to determine appropriate actions or referrals to other team members.
- Accurately collect and record patient insurance information.
- Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring patients feel heard and supported.
- Collaborate with other team members to facilitate smooth communication and operations.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and scheduling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, call centers, or medical scheduling preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and a friendly, patient-focused demeanor.
Additional Details:
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with flexible start times between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM.
- Location: 100% onsite at a central Houston location with free parking provided.
- Compliance: Background check and drug screen required. COVID-19 vaccination is not mandatory, but masks are required onsite.
