Job description
We are looking to recruit HGV Class 2 drivers for our clients in Bolton and Wigan. The job role involves multi drop deliveries. Due to insurance criteria, the drivers must have held their HGV Class 2 for 1 year minimum. You must have 90 days driving experience within the last 12 month period. We cannot accept any applications with more than 6 points on your licence, and it must be clear of CD/DD/DG/DR or IN endorsements.Role and Responsibilities:
- Deliver products to our customers, intact, on time and in full as per the delivery schedule
- Completion of documentation such as delivery notes, credits, and collections
- Adhere to all Driving Legislation and Working Time Regulations
- Follow Health and Safety procedures and be responsible for your own and other’s Health and Safety
- Completion of pre use vehicle checks and post vehicle checks.
- Collect all empty equipment from the customer
- Cooperate fully with the driver debrief procedure and undertake any other duties as directed by the Shift Management team
The role will be AD-HOC work, with the flexibility to choose which days you want to work.We are unable to accept LTD drivers for this role, we offer PAYE and PAYE Advanced (holiday pay included) models of pay
