Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the veterinary team by establishing a culture of leadership, trust, and respect.
- Collaborate with the Practice Manager and Regional Medical Director to manage staffing, scheduling, and medical protocols.
- Ensure high medical standards are upheld throughout the practice.
- Oversee the medical care of all patients and serve as the veterinarian of record for hospital permits and licenses.
- Manage a diverse caseload, including surgeries, medical treatments, and appointments, while maintaining efficient time management.
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships, promoting the human-animal bond.
- Support staff development through participation in the LevelUp clinical training program .
- Work closely with the Practice Manager and leadership team to meet operational and financial goals.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
- Active license in good standing (or ability to obtain a license in the state of employment).
- Strong leadership experience is preferred, though those aspiring for a leadership role are encouraged to apply.
