Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the veterinary team by establishing a culture of leadership, trust, and respect.
• Collaborate with the Practice Manager and Regional Medical Director to manage staffing, scheduling, and medical protocols.
• Ensure high medical standards are upheld throughout the practice.
• Oversee the medical care of all patients and serve as the veterinarian of record for hospital permits and licenses.
• Manage a diverse caseload, including surgeries, medical treatments, and appointments, while maintaining efficient time management.
• Foster and maintain strong client relationships, promoting the human-animal bond.
• Support staff development through participation in the LevelUp clinical training program .
• Work closely with the Practice Manager and leadership team to meet operational and financial goals.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
• Active license in good standing (or ability to obtain a license in the state of employment).
• Strong leadership experience is preferred, though those aspiring for a leadership role are encouraged to apply.
• Passion for mentoring and developing team members.
