Location: Barcelona, Spain. Hybrid

Job Description

The ESO Master Data Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of master data within the External Supply Operations (ESO). This role ensures that all master data related to suppliers, products, and supply chain operations is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Master Data Management: Create, update, and maintain master data records for suppliers, products, and other relevant entities within the ESO. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the integrity of master data. Identify and correct data discrepancies and errors.
  • Data Governance: Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures to maintain high standards of data management.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze master data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Generate reports and dashboards to support decision-making and supply chain operations.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including supply chain, procurement, SRTs, and quality, to ensure data needs are met and support operational efficiency.
  • Maintain and support master data management systems and tools.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in master data management and implement best practices to enhance data quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of data management processes and ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in master data management, preferably within the supply chain or manufacturing sectors
  • Experience in working with large data sets and complex data analysis is essential
  • Understanding of data management principles, supply chain operations, and industry best practices
  • Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP): Certification from DAMA International is a plusTechnical Guidance and Mentoring
  • Technical proficiency in data management systems (ERPs and data governance tools)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
