POSITION: Shop Cleaner/Helper Diesel Shop Summer Student
DEPARTMENT: Rail Mechanical
LOCATION: North Bay

SALARY: $17.75/hour

MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cleaning/washing of railway equipment, coaches, parts and shop facilities

Follow prescribed safety procedures including the use of safety clothing and equipment

Janitorial duties as required

Performs other related duties as assigned

Summer Term: May to August (4 months)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be registered for school in the fall of 2025 and provide proof of attendance for the
2025-2026 school year
- Preference given to students enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program or entering
full-time post-secondary studies in September 2025

Ability to work shift work

Must be able to work full-time hours

Good work ethic, energetic and enthusiastic

Works independently with little supervision

Previous cleaning/labour experience an asset

Must be committed to Health and Safety
