Course Description:
Study of the concept of the person as a unique combination of values, beliefs, and talents, while considering particular characteristics such as gender, sexual orientation, culture, language, institution, etc. Study of the construction of social representations and stereotypes. Examination of policies and practices of equity and inclusive education that promote personal development, character building, and critical thinking for greater social justice, particularly in the context of education in minority settings.
