The Role
As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are seeking SailPoint Engineer to be an engineer resource with SailPoint experience to lead integration of key identity infrastructure across all of QuidelOrtho strategic and important applications. Primary contact for the integration of SailPoint IdentityNow into our environment. You will lead the effort to design, build and configure applications into SailPoint. You will be able to demonstrate proficient understanding of IAM concepts and processes.
This role will be a remote opportunity.
The Position
- Access Provisioning & Governance: Provide direction and technical expertise in SailPoint IdentityNow for automated access provisioning, role-based access controls, and access certification campaigns.
- Audit & SOX Compliance: Support audit and SOX requirements by managing User Entitlement Reviews and re-certification campaigns, partnering with Internal Audit and Controls Teams.
- Workflow Creation: Develop provisioning workflows for automated access management, custom SOD policies, and access certification campaigns.
- System Troubleshooting: Offer technical expertise to troubleshoot SailPoint issues, monitor system logs, configure alerts, and follow escalation procedures for outages.
- Data Management: Collaborate with business partners to maintain clean and updated data in SailPoint, support hardware-application connections, and troubleshoot end-user issues.
- Project Participation: Act as the technical SME in projects related to SailPoint, including upgrades, new capabilities, and application onboarding, translating business requirements into technical implementations.
- Documentation & Metrics: Develop and maintain technical documentation for workflows, support audit activities, and create metrics to identify gaps or risks in identity processes.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
The Individual
Required:
- Education – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other technology-related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of technical experience working with Sailpoint IdentityNow.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of practical experience with Identity Lifecycle management.
- Proficient in Lifecycle management automation using Sailpoint. Understanding of data flows from Source HR systems to all downstream applications. Must know how to build & maintain connectors, workflows and certification campaigns
- Expert in building/provisioning workflows in IdentityNow. Expert in building, running and closing out access certifications for user access and privileged access. Must be able to use the system data and generate custom and ad-hoc campaigns.
- Knowledge and understanding of Active Directory / Azure AD / Okta and directory services, single-sign on services.
- This position is not currently eligible for visa sponsorship.
Preferred:
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of broader Information Security concepts as they relate to IAM is desired.
- Possess and display excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear, focused and concise manner.
- Must be able to think independently, be proactive, self-motivated with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to recognize opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to management.

- Application owners (business and technical), IT Operations team, including AAD/AD as well as Service Ops, End users across the world, IT Business Office, Internal Audit, InfoSec GRC
External Partners:
- Sailpoint vendor, Vendor of other COTS/3rd application vendors.
The Work Environment
The work environment characteristics are representative of a manufacturing, laboratory, or warehouse environment and include handling of viral and bacterial hazards, potentially hazardous chemicals, as well as infectious or potentially infectious bodily fluids, tissues, and samples. Up to 75% of the time at desk, standing or sitting extended periods of time. Flexible work hours to meet project deadlines
Physical Demands
The work environment characteristics are representative of an office environment. No strenuous physical activity, although occasional light lifting of files and related materials is required. Occasional travel required. Travel may include airplane, automobile travel and overnight hotel.
Salary Transparency
The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
