Our client, a crown corporation, is hiring a bilingual Administrative Assistant on a temporary basis. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience and make a meaningful contribution in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 2+ year of experience in an administrative position
  • Proven ability to multitask, adapt, and learn new skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides comprehensive administrative support, including minute-taking, translation, formatting, scheduling, travel arrangements, business presentations, reports, and managing correspondence and mail
  • Communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders via phone, email, or in-person
  • Tracks and manages workflows, projects, and action items to ensure timely follow-up
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for visitors and couriers, directing them to the appropriate person.
  • Maintains office supplies, schedules conference rooms, and ensures equipment is in working orde
  • Organizes virtual meetings and provides technical support
  • Oversees office equipment maintenance and repairs
  • Maintains meeting rooms and common areas in a clean and organized condition
  • Manages mail distribution, courier services, and visitor access cards
  • Ensures office security and key management
  • Provides backup support for essential administrative functions during team members’ absences

The wage for this position is $26.00 per hour.

Contract: 4 weeks with the potential for extension

Hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm
