The Administrative Specialist III works under the supervision of the Director of Adult Education and the Faulkner County Site Coordinator. This position will be responsible for providing general program support at the UACCM Adult Education facility in Conway. Evening and weekend hours may be required.
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Greet students and visitors in a professional manner as they enter the UACCM Adult Education Center.
Serve as a backup switchboard attendant and answer incoming calls.
Provide basic program information to interested individuals that contact the UACCM Adult Education facility in Conway by phone, in person, by mail, or through online inquiry methods.
Assist students with the completion of the Arkansas Adult Education Intake Form.
Proctor the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE assessment) for current and/or potential students.
Administer the GED Ready® examination.
Maintain student files and all required documentation according to Arkansas Adult Education guidelines.
Manage the Faulkner County Technology Lending Library program.
Monitor the use of office supplies to ensure optimum efficiency.
Assist with the coordination of UACCM’s annual GED® Graduation.
Perform routine secretarial work in connection with confidential administrative records and documents.
Provide daily assistance to the UACCM Adult Education Faulkner County Site Coordinator.
Assist with daily cleaning of the UACCM Adult Education facility in Conway.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of the minimum qualifications upon approval of the Chancellor.

Salary Information:
$29,120 – $32,000; commensurate with education and experience
