About the opportunity:

• One of the best healthcare organizations in Massachusetts located in Medford, MA is currently in need of a lot of Adult Mental Health Counselors to join their growing team
• They provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities including autism

• You will be responsible for supporting the clients who are unable to perform routine daily activities without assistance

Adult Mental Health Counselor Responsibilities:

• Monitoring the physical, mental, and emotional conditions of clients
• Performing personal hygiene care and housekeeping duties

• Administering medicine and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers

• Assisting clients from their beds into chairs or wheelchairs, and back

• Accompanying clients on trips, such as medical appointments

Adult Mental Health Counselor Qualifications:

• CPR and First Aid certification
• Caregiving experience with adults is highly preferred

• Applicants must pass the Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification

• Dependable, reliable, and caring
