Requirements:

Master’s degree in Education required; preference will be given to a Ph.D. in Education in the field of the course.

At least one of the following:

  • Recent full-time experience in technological education within a school or administrative role, including five years of implementing the Ontario Curriculum, OR
  • A current and peer-reviewed research portfolio in technological education, OR
  • A recent comprehensive examination (Ph.D.) in technological education.

Demonstrated knowledge of the Ontario context as it relates to the teaching of technological education.

Proven ability to apply the Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession and the Ethical Standards of the Ontario College of Teachers.

The University may consider equivalent experience or qualifications to those mentioned above.
