Education required: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Robotics Technology Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with an interest in automation, robotics, systems, software, and/or cybersecurity. Graduation by August 2025.
Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English
Other requirements: Willingness to be geographically mobile (domestic) throughout rotations

Within the Global Supply Chain business (GSC), our dedicated teams are responsible for manufacturing and distributing medicines and vaccines worldwide. They oversee every stage of production, from ensuring the creation of high-quality products at our manufacturing sites to developing effective supply forecasting and managing regulatory inspections—all powered by digital, data, and analytics.
We are seeking highly motivated graduates who are eager to grow into future engineering, operational, and technical roles within GSC. These positions involve working at our manufacturing sites to ensure the implementation of the latest, safe, efficient, and reliable processes and equipment. A thriving hub of innovation and production spread across 45 acres of picturesque coastline, nestled just 30 miles from Dundee and Aberdeen. Our graduate program attracts talent from various fields, fostering a dynamic and collaborative environment.
At Montrose, we focus on making primary ingredients for a variety of products, which are then sent to other sites to be turned into tablets, creams, inhalers, and more. With over 70 years of history, our site mixes tradition with modern advancements.
We are constantly working on projects to improve our buildings, equipment, and processes to ensure better product quality, safety, and efficiency. Our Automation team is key to these efforts, especially in maintaining and upgrading our main control system, Emerson DeltaV, across different areas. We also manage various equipment like boilers and water systems.
Right now, we’re upgrading our DeltaV systems to the latest versions, which not only boosts our operations but also provides great learning opportunities for our team members.
