Work Model: Hybrid (2 days in office) or remote, if preferred.The Bilingual IT Portfolio Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of IT services and projects within the organization. This role plays a vital part in coordinating teams, managing resources, and implementing best practices to optimize service quality.   • Oversee the implementation of new IT services and projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Coordinate project teams and stakeholders to define objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet service delivery requirements.
  • Identify required staffing levels and oversee hiring, training, and performance management of delivery team members.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, developing contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance IT service delivery.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation.

Coordination, Reporting & Communication

  • Serve as the key liaison between internal teams, development, operations, and support to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Track project performance using project management tools and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager to manage project interdependencies.
  • Advocate for best practices in project management and knowledge sharing.
  • Interface with executives, IT management, and end-users to define operational and business requirements.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure service effectiveness and project success.
  • Analyze service metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management, Compliance

  • Manage the implementation of changes to IT services and ensure smooth adoption.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure compliance with service agreements and negotiate contracts as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Monitor project and operational budgets to ensure cost-effective service delivery.
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing IT spend while maintaining service quality.

Qualifications

  • Fully bilingual in English and French (spoken and written) required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT service delivery management, project management, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and service level agreement (SLA) oversight.
  • Previous experience working in a matrixed environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and service management.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or MS Project.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage vendor relationships.
