The company has headquarters in Chicago (Bel Brands USA) and New York City (GoGo Squeez) and operates 5 manufacturing plants in Little Chute, WI; Leitchfield, KY; Brookings, SD; Traverse City, MI; and Nampa, ID.Title: Bossar Machine OperatorLocation: Nampa, IDJob Summary:As a Bossar Machine Operator for Materne North America, you will be responsible for the operation and monitoring of the FFS (form, fill, seal) equipment for our manufacturing process.This position is for D shift – Thursday through Saturday and E/O Wednesday from 7:00pm – 7:00am. Wage will include a $4.00 night shift differential.Position Responsibilities:

• Operate high-speed manufacturing equipment through touchscreen/HMI
• Lift and add rolls of packaging film into machine
• Observe materials to identify contamination or foreign materials
• Inspect pouches for uniformity and quality
• Document all necessary supply inventories
• Operate industrial carts and forklifts in a safe manner
• Perform troubleshooting and basic maintenance of equipment
• Clean packaging area and sanitize equipment
• Complete daily paperwork and reports
• Perform and complete sensory testing
• Must work a minimum of 12 hours
• Responsible to support a food safety and food quality culture

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for an entire shift (12- hours)
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to walk up and down stairs multiple times per shift

Education:

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Technical / Trade School preferred

Experience:

• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience working in the food industry is a plus

Knowledge/Skills:

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate (verbal, read, write) effectively in English
• Mechanical aptitude
• Computer skills (data entry & experience with an ERP system in a production environment preferred)

• Basic math skills, including competency with weights and measures (must be able to take measurements and understand tare weight).
• Embraces teamwork and thrives in team environment
