OverviewOur Gallagher Specialty Property division is looking for a Broker Back-Up Technician to join their US Property team. You will be an important part of a market leading broking team, helping to support the brokers and producers across binder and open-market business.
How you’ll make an impactProducing contract documents and endorsementsLiaison with broking/processing/accounts teams * Delivery of policy documentation/file handling and tracking

• Generate and issue evidence of cover, debit notes and closing instructions

• Assisting on the placement of the risk through the process from submission receipt and preparation of broking information and contract right through to delivery of debit notes and allocation of funds
• Comply with AJG Professional Standards Manual in accordance with statutory requirements for role with specific attention, but not limited to Managing Client information, Whistle Blowing, Treating Customers Fairly
• Carry out duties following internal policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, good governance and Gallagher’s shared values, in particular, putting clients at the heart of our business

About You

• Good attention to detail and take pride in your work
• Collaborative when working as part of a team
• Previous experience in a supporting role within London Market insurance
• Property experience preferable but not formal requirement
• Binder/line-slip experience preferable
• Eligible to work in the UK
