Cboe Data Vantage is seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence & Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for leveraging data to drive financial and business insights. You will play a key role in analyzing financial, product, and customer data to optimize financial performance and support strategic decision-making across the organization.
Location: NYC (flex hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting:
Leverage data analytical tools such as SQL, Python to extract, transform, and analyze data for both ad-hoc and comprehensive analyses.

Business Intelligence Development:
Develop and maintain business intelligence reports and dashboards using Sigma to provide actionable insights and support key business objectives.
-
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with finance, sales team, client engagement and other cross-functional stakeholders to improve data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Executive Presentations:
Work closely with executives and business leaders to understand business needs and provide clear, concise, and impactful presentations on analytical findings.

Automation & Process Optimization:
Identify opportunities for process automation to eliminate manual data entry and streamline BI reporting.

Database & Data Collection:
Support the maintenance of Business Intelligence databases, ensuring the collection, validation, and integration of relevant data across the business.
Qualifications:
Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Data Science, STEM field, or equivalent.
-
2+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or a related role, preferably in the financial or market data industry.
-
Commercial experience with proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar coding languages.
-
Hands-on experience with BI tools like Sigma, Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms.
-
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
-
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
Preferred:
-
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake.

Familiarity with the market data business, trading, or market exchange environments.

Our pay ranges are determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, role, experience, level, and location. The national new hire base pay range for this job in the United States is $72,250-$89,250. This range represents the minimum and maximum base pay the company expects to offer for new hires working in the position full time. If you live in one of the following areas or if you work in a Cboe office in the following areas, the range may be higher according to the geographic differentials listed below:

115%: Los Angeles CA, Seattle WA

125%: New York City NY

130%: San Francisco CA
Within the range, individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
