Job Title: Medical AssistantJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant with a focus on oncology to join our fast-paced team. Your primary responsibilities will include rooming patients, recording vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes, stocking exam/treatment rooms, and ordering supplies. You will also be responsible for obtaining blood specimens, answering phone calls for referrals, scheduling patient tests, procedures, and hospital admissions, and scheduling follow-up appointments. Additionally, you will perform various administrative duties such as typing, filing, faxing, and reception work.Hard Skills

Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in The Woodlands, Texas.Work EnvironmentHours: 8AM-5PM or until the last patient is seen, Monday – Friday, no weekends. You will work closely with a dedicated provider and Nurse Practitioner, adapting to a schedule that includes both clinic and surgery days. The primary location is within a short walking distance to the Radiation Center, with occasional floating to the Kingwood location as needed. Address: W.
