Job Title: Medical AssistantJob DescriptionIdeal candidates will have proven excellent customer service skills, demonstrate an enthusiastic and professional demeanor, and excel at multi-tasking. Medical Assistants are an integral part of the care team, ensuring patient flow and providing quality patient care in a safe and timely manner.Responsibilities

• Follow protocol in rooming and exiting patients
• Pre-visit planning
• Manage all elements of the rooming process including screening questionnaires
• Coordinate care with other members of the care team
• Ensure that all patient clinical quality measures are being addressed
• Complete all provider referrals for each patient
• Assist the medical provider with charting office visits, ensuring communication and documentation for comprehensive patient care coordination

Essential Skills

• Current/Active Certified Medical Assistant License in WA State
• 0-1+ years of experience (new graduates are welcome)
• Excellent customer service skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred, especially with EPIC
• Phlebotomy experience
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a major plus
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Registered Medical Assistant

Work EnvironmentWorking in a clinic, providing care primarily for Medicaid/uninsured patients in a community health environment. Two Medical Assistants are assigned to one provider.
