You’ll be working within our development team (reporting to our Lead Software Engineer, Martyn Fitzgerald) to enhance our groundbreaking workplace health platform.This role requires:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in development roles. You’ll need to demonstrate your experience in RESTful APIs, NoSQL (MongoDB), React.js, and AWS, as well as evidence consistent tenures in your current/prior roles.
  • Performance: A proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets is a must-have for this role.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to explain complicated solutions to all levels within a business.

Your RoleIn the role of a Full-Stack Developer, your responsibilities include implementing innovative software solutions, showcasing proficiency in design, development, and technical troubleshooting. You’ll also collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, engaging with development, design, and product departments to ensure seamless integration.Key Responsibilities include:

  • API Design/Build: Create robust and scalable solutions by designing and building RESTful APIs with Node.js expertise.
  • Technology Stack: Demonstrate expertise in NoSQL (MongoDB), React.js, HTML, CSS, and AWS, highlighting adaptability in developing innovative solutions.
  • Best practices: Implement engineering best practices, leveraging industry standards and emerging technologies. Lead and influence the development team to achieve project goals and spearhead new initiatives.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Exhibit a proactive approach to coaching and mentoring team members, contributing to the cultivation of a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Automation: Recognises chances for automating solutions to address recurring issues, enhancing the overall operational stability of software applications

and systems. * Test-Driven Development: Utilise familiarity with test-driven development methodologies to integrate automated testing into the development process, ensuring the production of high-quality and dependable software.

  • CI/CD Knowledge: Demonstrate a solid comprehension of Continuous Integration/Deployment processes and tools, emphasising a dedication to efficient and reliable development practices.
