The role:

This position requires a hybrid work model, including on-site presence and customer visits

The Armis Technical Engineer in Tel Aviv, Israel is a full-time Armis resource that will support multiple clients across the Israel region and potentially EMEA. The Armis Technical Engineer TLV will work closely with the customer to:

  1. Accelerate the time to value in the planning, deploying, and operationalizing of the Armis platform.
    1. Assist in building and implementing a work plan to reduce organizational risk
    2. Centralizing problems and bugs in the product
  2. Help with a continuous improvement plan by providing a periodic review of the platform..
    1. Maximize the use and value of the product as a core system within the organization
    2. Interact and collaborate with multiple teams and departments such as IT, OT, Infrastructure, InfoSec, Executives
  3. Ensure that new features are adopted and integrated into the client’s operational plans.
  4. Work with customer administrators  to ensure all reporting, dashboards, policies, and overall configuration of the Armis platform are working as intended.
    1. Examples:  Security gaps, regulatory compliance, CMDB, Threat Analysis, Audit capabilities
    2. Assist in preparing management reports that reflect the capabilities that Armis brings to the organization, improving its capabilities and improving efficiency
  5. Provide expert support, analysis and research into complex problems.
    1. Assist the client in building an optimal policy according to Play Books, producing targeted alerts, and reducing false positives
    2. Create a “Trusted Advisor” relationship with key personnel and the client’s work level
  6. Provide hands on technical assistance in deploying new sites and configuring all necessary parameters to ensure operational readiness

 

This is a highly technical, hands-on role and will be required to develop and maintain an expertise on the products and solutions deployed within the Customer’s network.

In addition to the highly technical aspects of these positions the RE TLV will also maintain a queue of clients and prioritize the work elements each needs so that they are addressed in a timely and high-quality manner as promised to the client.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Work in collaboration with the Armis TAM and Armis CEM to refine and translate complex requirements and execute on best practice solutions
  • Ensure operational uptime of customer platform by performing health checks
  • Ensure the customer deployments and configurations align with business use cases as defined by the TAM and drive Armis adoption and implementation plans
  • Learn and understand the customer’s business requirements and the threat landscape that is most applicable to their industry’s vertical sector
  • Build trusted relationships with relevant, technical users and manage stakeholders within assigned accounts
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise where applicable according to the Resident Engineer area(s) of proficiency
  • Apply analytical skills and technical knowledge to solve product and network problems of moderate to high complexity.
  • Provide technology/product training and intellectual property material as needed
  • Effectively use moderate to sophisticated lab setups to recreate and solve problems.
  • Submit complete and accurate bug reports in your area of expertise.
  • Determine root cause and resolution for previously unknown problems.
  • Interact across TAM/CSM/Sales teams and development teams at peer level.
  • Analyze logs and events from the solution and provide threat analysis reports, providing input and direction as applicable.
  • Build custom security policies and application signatures; Interact with the Armis TAMs to troubleshoot and diagnose cases
  • Mitigate web-based threats in a timely manner;
  • Support direct manager in managing business needs through weekly reports and Quarterly Business Reviews

What we expect…

  • 5+ years experience as full-time onsite Resident Engineer highly preferred or as a Professional Services Engineer, Consultant, or IT/Operations Engineering
  • 5+ years experience in a combination of the following; designing, deploying, configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, debugging and coordinating Unified Communications products, devices, solutions, and technologies for small, medium, large and/or enterprise businesses
  • 3+ years experience working in Security/IT?Healthcare/ICT/Commercial sectors
  • Applied knowledge of the Networking industry, products, and protocols.
  • Track record of successful problem solving and delivering known solutions with a high level of customer happiness.
  • Experience analyzing, use and configuring medium to enterprise networks.
  • Ability to work effectively in an interrupt driven environment and provide mentorship to other members of the work group.
  • Typically requires BS in a technical field (CS/EE preferred) or equivalent plus 4 to 8 years related experience.

Technical Skills

  • B.S in IT, IS, CS, MIS, (or equivalent degree) and/or relevant industry qualifications (CISSP, Security +,CEH) desired
  • Understanding of API based security and compliance standards
  • Familiarity/Experience in Cyber Security i.e Endpoint, SOAR, SIEM
  • Linux Operating System basic operation and troubleshooting (i.e. Redhat Linux /  CentOS)
  • Security Certificates, SSL, TLS
  • Python, C, C++
  • Networking (LAN/WAN, Routing/Switching protocols, Network Security)
