Job Description Summary
Penn Vet’s New Bolton Center provides an internationally renowned standard of care. Located on a campus of some 700 acres in Chester County, Pennsylvania, New Bolton Center has one of the largest caseloads of any academic large animal hospital in the nation.
Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and Clinical Service lead, the Clinical Care Technician is responsible for maintaining the safety of the patients and the staff and general animal husbandry duties.
Position located in Kennett Square, PA. No public transportation available.
Job Description
Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and the Clinical Service Lead, perform all duties related to general animal husbandry including grooming, feeding, stall cleaning, walking, and assisting in surgical procedures and routine and medical workups. Assist in maintaining general cleanliness of the clinical areas in addition to stocking clinical areas. Assisting in movement of large patients and supplies, including down or deceased animals.

Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent required. 0-1 years of large animal handling experience is required. Ability to perform strenuous work and tolerate exposure to weather, chemicals and allergens required. Valid driver’s license is required.
