Join our team and contribute to a workplace that values accuracy, integrity and employee well-being.What you’ll doIn this role, you will provide expert advice, administer pay and benefits in compliance with federal policies and support our employees in understanding their entitlements.Essential Qualifications:Education:

  • High School or College diploma with relevant compensation experience and knowledge.

Language Requirements:

  • Bilingual imperative with proficiency at BBB level. If you are unsure of your proficiency level, we encourage you to self-assess .

Experience:

  • Researching, analyzing, responding to and/or resolving issues related to the Phoenix pay processing system.
  • Providing client services (by email or other written format, or by phone, or in person).
  • Applying policies, procedures or legislations.
  • Administering pay or benefits within the Phoenix Pay System.
  • Using computer systems in the Compensation and Benefits area such as the Regional Pay System (RPS) or Phoenix,
  • Provisioning of compensation services within the Federal Public Service,
  • Applying acts, regulations, rules and procedures relating to pay and benefits.

Knowledge of:

  • Legislation, policies, directives and collective agreements related to compensation and benefits within the Federal Public Service

Ability:

  • Follow established processes with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, while ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Work on a variety of different tasks and change priorities as needed.
  • Work well under pressure of deadlines

  • Experience in disability management
  • Experience in quality assurance
  • Experience in analyzing and rectifying issues relating to employee pension deductions
  • Experience in facilitating employee transfers in other government department HR systems
