This role will be responsible for the quality on our construction projects. You will work to prevent defects, ensure compliance, and deliver a high-quality finished product. This position sits with our Mobility Global Business Area.In Mobility, we partner with our clients across the globe to design thriving and connected cities and communities that enable opportunity for all and keep the world moving. Climate change, urbanization and digitization trends are requiring today’s mobility projects and systems to address an evolving set of demands from the world’s growing population. We design connected, sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies, and optimize the mobility of people and goods.Role accountabilities:In this role you will be responsible for quality assurance and control including developing and implementing quality control plans, conducting inspections and audits to ensure compliance with standards and specifications and monitoring construction activities to identify and address potential quality issues. You will also be responsible for documenting and tracking quality control activities and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.Communication and coordination will be key as you will be communicating quality requirements to project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve quality issues, and providing training and guidance on quality control procedures.You will be tasked with identifying and assessing potential quality risks and developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies. You will also be responsible for documentation and reporting including maintaining accurate and up-to-date quality records, preparing and submitting quality reports, and reviewing project documentation.Continuous improvement will be an expectation, including identifying opportunities for improvement in quality control processes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions. This person will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years role specific experience is required
  • Bachelors Degree in Construction related field is required
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods
  • Understanding of quality management principles and practices
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and standards
  • Relevant certifications, such as the Certified Construction Quality Manager (CCQM) from ASQ, can be very beneficial
  • Experience in the field

The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
