Customer Service Representative in Rancho Cucamonga, California

Description We are in the process of hiring a Customer Service Representative for a non-profit organization located in Rancho Cucamonga, California. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be primarily responsible for servicing customer accounts, addressing inquiries, and maintaining thorough records. This role also demands a proactive approach towards monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintain comprehensive records of customer credit

• Handle customer inquiries and provide appropriate solutions

• Actively monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions

• Respond to customer requests via telephone, mail, or email for initiating, adding, or terminating residential or commercial water service accounts

• Maintain and update records of past due customer accounts, prepare delinquent bill reminders, and set service shut-off dates for non-payment cases

• Generate service orders for Field Service Technicians and document completed fieldwork

• Perform various administrative tasks such as generating letters, memos, data entry, maintaining files, and sorting mail

• Assist in billing and provide backup support to other department staff as required

• Guide customers in registering and navigating the online payment and customer usage portals. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably within the non-profit sector.

• Demonstrated proficiency in providing superior customer service.

• Proven track record of successfully resolving customer service issues.

• Experience in bill payment processing and handling.

• Proficiency in collecting payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Familiarity with credit card payment transactions and systems.

• Experience in handling EFT payments, ensuring secure and efficient transactions.
