We are seeking a Customer Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in providing administrative support to our sales process and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a temporary-to-hire position located near Clifton Park, NY.Responsibilities of the Customer Support Specialist will include:

• Accurately process customer orders received via email or phone, verifying lead times, pricing, and committed ship dates.
• Set up and onboard new customer accounts while maintaining accurate records.
• Actively communicate with customers to address inquiries, obtain missing information, and keep them informed on order statuses.
• Manage CRM data, including lead, account, contact, and opportunity entries, to support the sales team.
• Take ownership of the Pending Order Tracker system to ensure data accuracy and timely updates.
• Collaborate with customers to adjust order quantities, delivery dates, and resolve past-due orders with recovery plans.
• Assist with field claims by entering data into the RMA tracker and serving as a backup for the primary process.
• Provide feedback from customer interactions to Sales and Engineering teams to support continuous improvement.
• Stay informed about new products and features to enhance customer support and industry knowledge.

Job RequirementsQualifications of the Customer Support Specialist:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to provide a positive customer experience.
• Proficiency in basic Excel functions.
