OverviewStrata Solicitors is on the lookout for a talented Defence Claims Handler to join our dynamic team in Blisworth. In this role, you will independently manage a diverse caseload of pre-litigated claims involving motor and property losses brought by third parties. How you’ll make an impact

• Assess liability and build and maintain reserves in accordance with client service level agreements and key performance indicators
• Investigate the merits of third party claims
• Negotiate with third parties, third party insurers, and third party representatives via telephone and correspondence to reach settlements efficiently
• Handle third party hire and repair processes
• Instruction of own repair, hire provision, loss adjusting and investigation support partners
• Ensure full compliance with office protocols, client service level agreements, and key performance indicators for all claims handled
• Maintain 100% data integrity compliance on the office case management system for all claims handled
• Instruct and collaborate with client panel solicitors on litigated claims
• Adhere to all financial transaction requirements outlined in client service level agreements, key performance indicators, and The Solicitors Accounts Rules

About You

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative
• Ability to work independently
• Strong collaboration skills with peers and managers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Eligibility to work in the UK
