We are searching for a Director to lead our Advanced Solutions and professional services team in Ontario.This is an exciting opportunity to join a talented and growing team that is committed to providing service excellence, and is passionate about being part of something bigger. • Reporting to the Vice President and General Manager in Ontario, you will collaborate with two IMP Solutions business units in Halifax and our customers to drive business value and support IMP’s strategic vision.
• Communicate the value of IMP’s Cloud, Network, Collaboration, Data Center, Managed, and Cyber services to both current and new customers, ensuring they understand how these services benefit them.
• Manage technical staff, including hiring, direct supervision, facilitating interdepartmental collaboration, and addressing employee concerns and performance.
• Oversee and facilitate fiscal planning, prepare financial budgets and present proposals to executives.
• Manage technical systems and responsible for the technical teams who oversee networks, data centers, and infrastructure systems.
• Own all Statements of Work (SOW) that are done by the technical team.
• Handle capacity planning for our Professional Services bench internally and subcontractors.
• Collaborate and support Sales Team members on proposals, projects, and presentations.
• Align with key vendor technologies for certifications and designations. Some of these include Cisco, HPE, Dell, VEEAM, Fortinet, Microsoft, VMware, HPE Aruba, and Lenovo.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in related field. Combination of education and practical experience considered.
• 10+ years of progressive sales, services and/or technical experience in leading engineers, consultants and/or technical sales.
• Extensive background in delivering Network, Security, Wireless, Data Center, Cloud and/or Collaboration solutions and services to a range of clients from Enterprise to mid-size business.
• Strong working knowledge of relevant top vendor products.
• Ability to take ownership of complex IT problems.
