JOB SUMMARY
The University of Connecticut Law School is hiring an Education Programming Assistant to support its Insurance Law Center (ILC). This is a new role, and applicants can expect to work closely, creatively, and collaboratively with the Director of the ILC and other affiliated faculty. The nature of the duties will vary, but responsibilities will include administrative and strategic planning support and executing specific initiatives like conferences and workshops.
The Insurance Law Center (ILC) is the foremost center for the study of insurance law in the world. Located in Hartford, America’s insurance capitol, the ILC draws on its generous endowment and local industry expertise to serve as the premier place to explore big ideas in insurance, through seminars, symposia, and conferences, the ILC promotes cutting edge thought at the intersection of insurance and various other topics—including climate change, cybersecurity, discrimination, and artificial intelligence.

APPOINTMENT TERMS
This is a full-time, permanent position located at the Law School in Hartford. Other rights, terms, and conditions of employment are contained in the collective bargaining agreement between the University of Connecticut and the University of Connecticut Professional Employees Association (UCPEA).
