Job Title: Electrical DrafterJob DescriptionUsing AutoCAD Electrical or E-Plan, you will produce electrical drawings for the power and control systems of extrusion and web handling machinery. You will design electrical panel and cabinet layouts following good engineering practices and generate bills of materials for installations based on schematics and layouts. Your work will include designing wiring layouts for machinery installations, making corrections to electrical cabinets, and generating panel layouts and BOMs for production release. You may also be involved in processing engineering change requests from the assembly line.Responsibilities

• Produce electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical or E-Plan.
• Design electrical panel and cabinet layouts following good engineering practices.
• Generate bills of materials based on schematics and layouts.
• Design wiring layouts for machinery installations.
• Make corrections to electrical cabinets, including determining main branches, motor sizes, and drive sizes.
• Generate panel layout and BOM for production release.
• Involve in processing engineering change requests from the assembly line.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and E-Plan.
• Experience in electrical drafting and design.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
• Ability to create schematics and panel layouts.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and standards (CEC, NEMA, IEEE).
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 2-3 years of experience in drafting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in creating bills of materials.
• Ability to handle engineering change requests.

Work EnvironmentThis position is on-site with working hours from 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM. The work environment is open-concept to encourage collaboration among team members.
