We are hiring an Events Manager for our Vancouver client. This is a new and exciting position that will focus on brand growth, sales and events for multiple locations. The ideal Events Manager will have 4+ years of corporate event planning experience that includes business development, venue promotion and vendor management. As with all event related roles, evenings and weekends will be required.About Our Client

The Events Manager will lead dynamic event programming aimed at revenue generation and brand growth. This role involves planning and executing a diverse range of events while positioning boutique venues as premier event destinations. Responsibilities include creating exceptional experiences that enhance community engagement, drive revenue, and align with a high-end, community-focused brand. The Events Manager will work closely with leadership to ensure seamless event execution and strategic growth.About The Position
- Oversee all event logistics, vendor coordination, budgeting, and on-site execution.
- Drive revenue through event space marketing, sales outreach, and client engagement.
- Plan and execute high-profile events, including launches, VIP gatherings, and exclusive experiences.
- Cultivate vendor partnerships to ensure premium catering, décor, and entertainment.
- Promote and secure event bookings while building strategic partnerships.
- Position venues as premier event destinations through industry collaborations and strategic growth.
- Lead internal team events, cultural initiatives, and community engagement efforts.
Requirements
- 4+ years of event management experience, preferably in real estate or hospitality.
- Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Track record of driving revenue through event sales and client outreach.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets.
- Skilled in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and CRM tools (Pipedrive preferred).
- Excellent organizational and relationship-building skills with vendors and clients.
- Effective problem-solving, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Positive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.
- Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
- Driver’s license is an asset.
Compensation
- Annual salary range $80,000 – $100,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
