About Syrian Networks League (SNL):
An institution that brings together the coordinating bodies of Syrian Civil Society Organizations, SNL Started in 2015 and Officially registered in Turkey as a humanitarian league in 2021, gathered by a transparent coordination mechanism within credible, pluralistic participatory frameworks, aiming at mobilizing the energies of civil coordination bodies to ensure the creative expression of the aspirations of Syrian Civil Society, and develop its initiatives with the aim of advocacy for its issues and building its capabilities to promote comprehensive development. Syrian Networks League consists of seven coordination bodies. These coordination bodies include 140 organizations working in the humanitarian and civil fields in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Turkey. An establishment that brings together the coordination bodies of Syrian civil society organizations, which are in agreement with the goals and mechanisms outlined in the statute.

2. Advocacy for Syrian civil society issues to influence decision makers.
3. Developing the capabilities of the Syrian civil coordination bodies, and strengthening local, regional and international networking and cooperation channels.
4. Activating the oversight role of civil society.
5. Developing institutional civil work.
6. Promote participatory work and complementarity between civil coordination bodies.

Overall Purpose
The Field Finance Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of an organization in the field. This position is essential for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with financial regulations, and effective budget management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately record and document all daily financial transactions.
- Manage the cashbox and ensure daily cash reconciliation.
- Prepare periodic financial field reports and submit them to the direct supervisor.
- Monitor the project budget and ensure adherence, reporting any deviations.
- Verify that all invoices and receipts are supported by valid documents and comply with policies.
- Support internal and external financial audits by preparing the necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with the administrative team in the field to ensure smooth execution of activities.
- Follow up on supplier and staff payments, ensuring timely disbursement.
- Archive financial documents in an organized manner for easy reference.
- Provide support for any additional financial tasks as requested by management
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant Experience: 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in a field-based or NGO environment.
- Experience with Financial Software: Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
- Ability to prepare and analyze financial reports.
- Experience in budget preparation, monitoring, and financial forecasting.
- Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial staff.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Language Proficiency
- Proficiency in local languages may be an advantage depending on the field location.
