THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing and our Real Estate Development Business Finance team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for partnering with the business to drive profitability by producing insightful financial analysis to make informed business decisions. You will play a pivotal role in Aritzia’s future growth by providing strategic and innovative solutions to support the Real Estate Development department’s business in achieving both short and long-term corporate objectives. THE ROLE

As the Director, Business Finance, Real Estate Development, you will lead the team to:

• Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.
• Be financial leaders in the Real Estate Development business, partnering to drive profitability.
• Plan and forecast the business in the short and long term in alignment with departmental and corporate objectives and strategies.
• Provide the business visibility into Real Estate Development performance results with relevant and timely intelligence.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Director, Business Finance, Real Estate Development, has:

• Proven and best-in-class skills, applicable certifications, education and/or experience in Finance, Accounting or Business Analysis in a Real Estate environment
• A commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzia’s Values and Business and People Leadership principles
• The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
• The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team
• A dedication to quality and investing in results and new business opportunities that add value
• A deep understanding and commitment for the industry in which we operate

THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $150,000–$200,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
