Food Innovation Manager

Do you have experience in product development processes within the food and beverage manufacturing industry? A local dog treat manufacturer is looking to add a Food Innovation Manager to join their growing team!  

This family owned and operated company in Arlington has brought healthy, savory and long lasting dog treats to our 4-legged friends across the PNW since 2003. In this Food Innovation Manager role, you will be responsible for helping drive the company’s new product pipeline from start to finish. You will work cross functionally across all teams to help execute on new products and business opportunities.

Food Innovation Manager Responsibilities:  

• Oversees review of new product concepts and processes required for new product introduction and roll out  

• Manages project structure for stakeholders including timelines, project plans, tasks, team responsibilities and status reporting  

• Manages product lifestyle, including evaluation of non-productive products  

• Works with marketing, sales and finance to identify trends and customer needs to develop demand and profitability forecasts  

• Collaborates closely with other members of the QA and R&D team

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm  

Food Innovation Manager Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in R&D/product development within the food & manufacturing industry

• Understanding of product technology, manufacturing processes and design principles  

• Ability to manage projects and product initiatives end-to-end

• Ability to effectively communicate and work cross functionally across multiple teams such as QA, R&D, Sales and Marketing

• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to multitask and manage competing priorities    

Compensation: $70k – $90k/yearly (+annual bonus)
