DESCRIPTIONThe PATOE Product Development team is responsible for designing, building and sustaining world-class Employee Relations and Learning & Development product experiences that serve PXT and Operations employees worldwide. We are responsible for a variety of products, spanning the AI-powered Aerial app that observes and forecasts deficiencies in the frontline employee experience, to SayHi, the translation service built into operational site devices.We are looking for a smart and passionate front-end engineer with knowledge and skills in building highly interactive web interfaces, great user experience and graphic design skills along with strong technical knowledge in current web development technologies like JavaScript (NodeJS, TypeScript, React, etc.), HTML and CSS based on profound software development mechanisms (deployment, TDD), and is ready to dive into backend functionality based on team team and project needs.As a front-end engineer on this team, you’ll be responsible for driving key deliverables across teams building out interactive and responsive user experiences. You will have significant influence on our overall strategy by helping define product features, drive the system architecture and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product. Above all, you will build an impactful product.Key job responsibilities

– Work closely with UX designers and product managers to develop friendly UI experiences.
– Work closely with other engineers to architect and develop the best technical design.
– Develop and maintain frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Native).
– Own and deliver key features for SayHi web application.
– Ensure code quality through comprehensive testing and code reviews.
– Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
– Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate best practices into development processes.
– Help develop the engineers of an existing team of SDEs in the frontend space.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS– Experience in computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis)
– Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react
– Experience (non-internship) in professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSSPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– Experience in agile software development methodology
