The incumbent will work from the office location at the Centre of Tallahassee Building: 2415 North Monroe Street, Suite 400 Tallahassee, FL 32303.Business Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm EST, Monday – Friday.This is a full time position, working 40 hours per week.Some travel may be required.Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or relevant work experience as described in the job duties can substitute on a year-for-year basis.
  • Note: Be prepared to provide a copy of your degree/diploma or request official transcripts from your school in a sealed envelope. All documents must be in English, clear, and legible, showing all signatures and pertinent details. Foreign degrees must be validated by a third-party to meet the US equivalency requirements.   • Proficient working with MS Office to include PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook software.
  • Valid Driver’s License (Travel is required to attend off-site job fairs, interviews and meetings as needed).

Preference may be given to those with the following qualifications:

  • Is a current Notary Public, or willing to become a Notary Public.
  • Knowledge and experience in recruitment and selection activities to include: experience determining candidate eligibility for hiring purposes, creating and maintaining advertisements for employment, interviewing applicants, managing confidential information, handling personnel files.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system.

POSITION DESCRIPTIONThis is independent work in which the incumbent will be responsible for coordination of recruitment and separation activities for the Economic Self-Sufficiency Program, Headquarters offices and the Customer Call Center. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality.The incumbent in this position is responsible for the following duties:

  • Develop and maintain the unit training manuals, training materials, PowerPoints, and other documents as required.
  • Deliver training presentations as needed.
  • Coordinate and complete the Hiring and Separation Processes which include:
  • Creating advertisements, maintaining updates, closing out when position is filled.
  • Update tracking reports and maintaining the requisition matrix.
  • Communicating with applicants, managers, and agency partners.
  • Reviewing documents for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Sending documents to Human Resources for processing.
  • Participate in job fair and recruitment activities.
  • Maintain system accounts and physical needs for new hires or current staff.
  • Maintain Business Operations digital and hardcopy files.
  • Work on special projects and analyze reports as needed.
  • The incumbent will perform other related duties as assigned.
