Overview:COME JOIN THE BAND IN BRISTOL! We are looking for smiling faces to deliver ROCK STAR SERVICE for our guests. We will be interviewing for Cocktail Servers, Cooks, and more for our bars and restaurants at our on-property Hiring Event on Wednesday, March 8th from 4-7pm. Printed resumes and professional attire are strongly encouraged. Responsibilities:COCKTAIL SERVER JOB DESCRIPTIONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:(These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position)

• Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Bristol their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
• Takes customer drink orders, serves drinks and collects monies in a courteous and efficient manner
• Adheres to food and beverage policies and Virginia ABC laws.
• Completes all required set-up duties on time
• Keeps station clean at all times
• Promotes customer service relations
• Responsible for settling guest checks
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned by the Beverage Manager

• Attend seminars when needed.

COOK JOB DESCRIPTION:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:(These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position)

• Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Bristol their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
• Prepares foods that are to be grilled, fried, broiled, baked, boiled, braised, poached, etc.; ensures that all plates or pans are aesthetically appealing and cooked to the specifications of the customer and the chef when served.
• Recognizes a variety of sauces and properly places them on all entrees featured on daily menus.
• Keeps workstation neat and clean.
• Assists co-workers to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen.
• On occasion may perform similar duties for special events/ parties.
• Ensures cleanliness of working area; reports all equipment for safety failures, hazardous areas and accidents.
• Ensures the proper storing of any foods, including those from a previous function.
• Ensures that items are fully stocked, and equipment is in good working condition.
• Ensures the proper closing down of workstations.
• Assists with other duties at special events or parties and assisting where necessary to include but not limited to carving, cooking, set up and or teardown stations or work areas or other duties as assigned.
• Attends and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
• Performs work regularly and predictably.
• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing work and public spaces.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)These skills and abilities are typically acquired through two months of on-the-job training or through related cashier or host experience.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc):

• Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming/Lottery regulations.
• Must successfully pass background check.
• Must successfully pass drug screening.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and have a flexible schedule.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all appropriate licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
• Previous job experience in a similar role is strongly preferred.

• Present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.
• Deliver superior customer service and create memorable experiences for our guests.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests.
• Ability to restock needed materials and retrieve dropped items.
