Duties and Responsibilities for Wood Production and Mill WorkerThis position requires that you work in both the Production and Mill DepartmentsWood Production Worker:

• Building wood furniture from start to finish
• Loading and off loading wood from saws
• Marking Defects
• Sorting wood on pallets by size and color grading
• Sanding
• Spraying finish
• Cross training in all areas
• Loading trucks

Mill Worker:

• 10×1 ft boards will run along the roller machines after being cut from logs
• Guide the boards (physical work) down the rollers and place them in appropriate location
• General work station clean up of machinery and floors required

Requirements and Qualifications for a Wood Production and Mill Worker

• Wood working experience is required
• Prior Production, manufacturing, and/or construction experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, push and pull 40lbs throughout the day

• Can be very repeative work
• Strong back
• Attention to detail
• Reliable, dependable
• Team player

Job Details for a Wood Production and Mill Worker

• Schedule: Monday – Thursday from 6am – 4:30pm
• Six hours of voluntary overtime available each week.
• Wage: $16.50 to start
• Duration: Temp to Hire
