Hospitality Associate in New York, New York

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Hospitality Associate in New York. The primary focus of this role is to maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen and catering areas, while also managing inventory of catering supplies. This is a key role within our team, ensuring smooth operation of our services.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring cleanliness and order in the kitchen and catering areas

• Efficiently washing dishes during specified hours

• Keeping a well-organized inventory of catering supplies

• Balancing multiple projects and deadlines with the ability to prioritize work

• Utilizing excellent verbal and written communication skills as required

• Applying previous office service experience, preferably in the catering or hospitality fields

• Assisting in hiring processes and managing perks as necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in hiring processes, including screening, interviewing, and onboarding staff

• Experience in catering, including menu planning, food preparation, and event coordination

• Exceptional written communication skills for clear and concise correspondence

• Knowledge of managing and implementing employee perks and benefits

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people

• A strong customer service mindset, with a focus on providing an excellent guest experience

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

• Physical stamina to stand for long hours and lift heavy items when necessary

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the hospitality industry

• Proficiency in using various software applications, including reservation and booking systems.
