Position Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation: Prepare high-quality, fresh, and flavorful dishes according to established recipes, maintaining consistency and presentation standards.
• Catering Support: Assist in planning and executing catering operations for company meetings and events, ensuring the seamless delivery of food services.
• Quick Bites Café: Contribute to the preparation of a diverse menu at our Quick Bites Café, focusing on quick, delicious, and satisfying options for our Team Members.
• Family Dinner Program: Extend and support our daily Family Dinner initiatives to provide support and nourishment to our valued team members and their families.
• Food Safety: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, including chefs, cooks, and dishwashers, to create a harmonious and efficient kitchen environment.
• Flexibility: Adapt to varying demands, whether it’s managing a large event, crafting a customized menu, or efficiently handling daily café orders.
• Quality Control: Monitor food quality and freshness, promptly addressing any issues to ensure Team Member satisfaction.
• Customer Focus: Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with Team Members, providing excellent service and accommodating special requests.

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary setting is preferred, but we welcome candidates with a passion for food and a willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and basic culinary techniques.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and maintain composure.
• Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends, to support event catering.

The base compensation range for these roles can range from $17.25 – $35.00 an hour for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range compensation package during your hiring process.
