Sam’s Club is our membership warehouse club, a business model that provides our members with high-quality products at prices that are unrivalled by traditional retail. Sam’s Club provides a carefully curated assortment of items, as well as developing and leading technologies and services such as Scan & Go, Club Pickup, and home delivery service in select markets. Sam’s Club also provides travel, auto purchasing, pharmacy, optical, hearing aid centers, tire and battery centers, and a portfolio of business operations support services. Our team is responsible for coding, unit testing, building high performance and scalable applications that meet the needs of millions of Sam’s members, in the areas of Membership, Marketing and Map to improve Contact Center average handle time by addressing advocate pain points and automating key Contact Center data reducing response time for member issues.

What you’ll do:

·       As a member of the team you will be expected to code, test and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale, impacting millions of customers worldwide.

·       Collaborate with senior members of the team to gather requirements, participate in design discussion, code, test and deploy the products to production

·       Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.

·       Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome products.

What you’ll bring:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline with 3 to 6 years of core software product development experience.

·   

• Proficient in real time & batch pipelines in big data technologies (i.e. Spark/Kafka/Cassandra/Hadoop/Elasticsearch, NoSql Dbs etc.)
• Proficiency in languages such as Python, Scala, Java.
• Experience with the workflow management platform like Airflow/hudi.
• Experience with Cloud computing platforms like GCP and Azure.
• Proficient with Designing and building APIs
• Hands on Experience with PL/SQL to query data & generate insights using complex queries, stored procedures, and user defined functions.
• Security, API Gateway.
• Familiarity with Engineering practices in Analytics space using tools like PowerBi, Tableau.
• Experience with data modeling & data migration protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Release & Deployment , CI/CD
• Code/ Design reviews
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
