What We DoFirst American’s Internship Program is a full-time, 10-12 week paid internship starting in May and June 2024. The Intern will work in a program designed to help college students gain experience and develop the technical, professional, and interpersonal skills that will be invaluable throughout their career. As a First American Intern you will gain exposure to working in a corporate environment within the Financial/Title Industry—balanced with intern-specific activities, executive level presentations and networking opportunities—while under the close supervision and guidance of a manager and/or mentor. Undergraduate students are assigned significant work assignments to support a specific or multiple Information Security projects.
What You’ll Do
- The Information Security Project Portfolio Management team focuses on projects that center around Information Security, with collaboration and cooperation with the software development and hardware/infrastructure departments.
- These projects require the ability to learn and understand Information Security Policies and Standards. Individually, or as part of a team, responsible for assisting the primary Project Manager with project planning, providing statuses, risk management, issue resolution, and reporting in a manner that meets compliance and regulatory requirements, and aligns with the risk posture of the company.
- Duties may include assisting the primary Project Manager with assembling project team, scheduling project meetings, taking and distributing meeting notes, following up with assigned individual responsibilities, maintaining schedules to ensure timely completion of project, communicating project status and issues to team and management. Coordinates with other projects and work groups.
- Socialization and communication of all changes that may impact the Business or other Corporate Departments.
- Work closely with Info Sec operations on tasks related to information and technology security compliance.

Pay Range: $29.00 – $32.00 per hour
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location
