Information Technology Lead

Location: Forensic Exploitation Department (FXD) Gillem Enclave, Forest Park GA

Job Description:

Amentum is currently seeking an Information Technology (IT) Lead in support of the Forensic Exploitation Department (FXD) at Gillem Enclave Forest Park, GA and forward deployed forensic laboratories. The I nformation Technology Lead will provide guidance, direction, and oversight of IT personnel ensuring the customers’ IT requirements are met in effective and timely manner.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain accountability of all government IT equipment in coordination with primary hand receipt holder and Property Book Officer (PBO)

• Review and track all IT support request ensuring compliance with current policy and approved by the government Information Management Office

• Develop procedures to maintain and protect of all historical Forensic Data in compliance with accreditation requirements

• Develop Information Technology Mission Essential Equipment List (MEEL) for forward deployed laboratories

• Identify and forecast annual purchase requirements for IT equipment and self-life replacements for both FXD and forward deployed laboratories

• Identify all forensic software requirements by discipline and ensuring compliance approval for installation on network systems

Required/ Preferred Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Eight (8) years of experience in the design, development, deployment, administration, patching, updating, implementing STIGs, and auditing of Windows Servers and Windows Clients.

• Minimum (1) year of experience as team lead or site lead responsible for multiple employees and equipment.

• Experience the administration of a Windows Web Server

• Experience with data storage solutions including raid arrays and backup and recovery solutions and techniques.

• Experience with Information Assurance (IA) documentation necessary to obtain Authority to Operate (ATO)s.

• DoD8140 Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Level II certification or higher, as well as an IT-Level 1 Clearance in JPAS

• Experience with administration of windows server running Microsoft SQL Server to perform patches, updates, STIGs, and auditing.

• Experience with the setup and administration of cloud-based environments for software development and application hosting.

• Skilled in the use of a computer and applicable software to research, format and disseminate information.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TOP SECRET Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a DOD Top Secret clearance.

• Must possess a valid U.S. passport

• Must be able to complete and pass a medical assessment per customer requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in or with forensic laboratories

• Active DoD TOP SECRET security clearance Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a DOD Top Secret clearance.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

• Typical office environment with no unusual hazards. This position may require OCONUS deployment travel in support of forward deployed Forensic Exploitation Laboratories
